    Job Purpose

    To ensure uninterrupted plant operations through effective maintenance of machinery and utilities, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance, cost control, and compliance with industry best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    Critical Responsibilities (KCR)

    1. Maintenance Planning & Execution

      • Develop and rigorously implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

    2. Budget & Cost Control

      • Monitor maintenance budgets, optimize resource usage, and drive cost control.

    3. Troubleshooting Specialized Equipment

      • Handle faults in PLCs, VFDs, and other specialized equipment.

    4. Machine Health Monitoring

      • Implement strategies to ensure machine uptime and reliability.

    5. Methodology Application

      • Apply TPM, PDCA, and other maintenance excellence models.

    6. MTBF & MTTR Improvements

      • Drive initiatives to improve Mean Time Between Failures and reduce Mean Time to Repair.

    7. Energy Management

      • Implement plans for energy cost reduction.

    8. Utility Equipment Maintenance

      • Ensure timely servicing of compressors, DG sets, cranes, etc.

    9. Spare Parts Lifecycle Monitoring

      • Maintain inventory and lifecycle records of critical spares.

    10. Cross-Department Coordination

      • Facilitate communication with production, engineering, and related departments.

    11. Safety Compliance

      • Maintain and improve health and safety standards.

    12. Reporting

      • Prepare and share weekly performance and maintenance reports.

    13. Resource Allocation

      • Plan manpower and materials for efficient machine maintenance.

    14. Preventive Task Supervision

      • Lead preventive maintenance activities on the shop floor.

    15. Liaison with Government Authorities

      • Coordinate with AEN/JEN and statutory bodies for compliance.

    Non-Critical Responsibilities (NCR)

    1. OEM Manual Study – Keep updated with OEM standards and maintenance guidelines.

    2. Cross-functional Communication – Work with other departments to align maintenance goals.

    3. IMS Maintenance – Update and manage the IMS system and related documentation.

    4. Process Innovation – Implement Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and other continuous improvement methods.

    5. Energy Efficiency Projects – Lead initiatives to save energy.

    6. Departmental Coordination – Ensure smooth workflow between maintenance and other units.

    7. Conflict Management – Address and resolve team or inter-departmental conflicts.

    8. Adverse Condition Operations – Ability to operate effectively under challenging conditions.

    9. Legal & Statutory Compliance – Ensure adherence to government rules and regulations.

    10. Network Drawings Update – Prepare and maintain network layout drawings for cables and air supply

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Education: Full-time Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical

      • Experience: 6–10 years on factory shop floor
