Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team in the synthetic resin industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, specifically within the context of printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical companies. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.

Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy for sourcing raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies required for the production of synthetic resins. This strategy should align with the company's overall objectives and cost-saving targets.
2. Vendor Management: Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of raw materials in the printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical industries. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with vendors to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
3. Cost Optimization: Continuously review and analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining the desired quality standards. Implement measures to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality and efficiency.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure a steady supply of materials to meet production demands. Minimize stockouts and excess inventory by closely monitoring consumption patterns and production schedules.
5. Quality Control: Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. Address any quality issues with vendors promptly.
6. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.
7. Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and innovations in synthetic resin materials and related industries. Use this knowledge to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection and material sourcing.
8. Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and productivity.

Qualification & Experience:-

• Bachelor's degree in Chemicals, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience of  8 to 10 Years of respective industry.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or a similar role within the synthetic resin industry, specifically dealing with printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques.
• Familiarity with synthetic resin materials, their properties, and applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor management and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools for purchase order management and inventory tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
